Linda and Bernie are partners both in marriage and in business. In 1970 they were married and began their first business partnership. For 33 years they owned a retail /mail order/ direct marketing business with imports from Europe. Throughout that time they gained knowledge and expertise in marketing, design and retail operations.
Now in retirement, they continue to work together on various creative projects. Their latest venture is a coffee table photo book titled Colorado’s South Park that is to be published in early 2010. For over three years they traveled the area, hiked the meadows and mountains, photographed and sketched in and made South Park their home.
Bernie’s passion is photography and creative design; Linda’s is painting and drawing. They have been featured in galleries in Georgia and Colorado. Besides their artistic talents, they enjoy skiing, hiking and traveling. Since 1995 they have hosted and guided tours to Europe with VIP-Alpine Tours. Bernie, a native of Austria knows the language and customs as well as many quaint places that most tour companies miss. Linda also speaks German and has traveled to Europe at least 40 times.
